About Bonnie-Gayle

Bonnie-Gayle Sparks, a born and raised Texan, began her acting career in Houston a decade ago. Now she works in markets across the nation including the South Central, Southeast, Intermountain West, and Midwest regions.

Most recently she played recurring character Jo Ann Garlington alongside Elizabeth Olsen, Jesse Plemons, and Krysten Ritter in the true crime limited series, Love & Death on Max.

Bonnie-Gayle rose to prominence in the Texas-made indie comedy, Camino (2016), for which she earned a Best Breakout Performance Award at The Victoria Texas Independent Film Festival. Other notable credits include a guest star role on Amazon Freevee's Leverage: Redemption, a lead in indie comedy Monday (2018), the making of which was documented in Robert Rodriguez's reality series Rebel Without A Crew, and the heart-wrenching short film Grace (2019), the story of a young girl who falls victim to the sex-trafficking epidemic. This award winning drama was inspired by true stories of real sex-trafficking survivors, and has been viewed almost 3 million times on YouTube alone. Click here to watch.

Often compared to Daisy-Edgar Jones, Amy Adams, and Shailene Woodley, Bonnie-Gayle fits seamlessly into edgy raw dramas as well as grounded dark comedies.

Known for her versatility, she has been very successful in the commercial space as well. You might have recently seen her in regional spots such as Choctaw Casino with Troy Aikman, Jamba Juice, and Dominos Pizza with Lacey Evans.

Bonnie-Gayle and husband/fellow actor, Vance Sparks, are both proud board members of the SAG-AFTRA Dallas-Fort Worth local. Vance also makes an appearance in Love & Death as Dr. Lask. As a family they love to hit the beach, enjoy time with friends, and travel in their full-time living RV.

SOME LOVE WORDS FROM PEERS

"I am proud to write this letter of recommendation for Bonnie-Gayle Sparks, who has been with our agency for 9 years now.

She is an extremely talented young actress; a star in the making. I would highly recommend her to any prospective agency or casting director. She is extremely hard working, reliable, and a joy to work with.

Bonnie-Gayle is an asset and we look forward to continuing to represent her in the South Central region."

- Cat Hardy-Romanelli, Pastorini-Bosby Talent

"Where do I start with Bonnie-Gayle Sparks… quirky, fun, professional, energetic, all of these words describe Ms. Sparks. She stepped into the role of Alice when we had only 2 hours to cast our film, Monday. While shooting, multiple times on her days off, she would come to set just in case we needed a helping hand. Not a lot of actors do that. She is, to sum it up, a trooper. I thank her for being a part of our team, and I would not hesitate to recommend her to any industry professional."

-Alejandro Montoya Marin, Director of Monday as seen on Rebel Without a Crew (El Rey Network)
